"Planning a 400 person event using a combination of staff and volunteer support requires creativity, skill and patience. J Shea demonstrated these traits as her team managed CoSN’s 2016 'Monumental Impact' Advocacy Dinner and Auction in the District of Columbia. Jessica’s team was particularly effective at streamlining the operational process thus allowing us to maximize attendance while minimizing food costs and wait times related to check in for the event. Some of these changes were substantive changes to the operating procedure while others resulted from the use of a simple mobile application. Most importantly, she was effective in leading both staff and volunteers through this process. Not surprisingly, the J Shea team will be moving forward with us as we plan another successful event in Chicago in 2017.”
