Defining Success Is the First Step to Achieving It.

First of all, hats off to you for recognizing that successful events require a defined strategy from the get go. This is what drives all recommendations for the event format and ideal design to reach your business goals.

Our 30+ combined years in the corporate and association event world has proven that without understanding the “why” behind each event, there is no way to determine what success really means to the organization.

Whether you’re considering doing an event for the first time and need direction, or it’s time to shake up one that’s existed for years, you’ve come to the right place.

We’ll work together to help facilitate your organization’s vision and create a plan that is thoughtfully crafted, well-defined, and inclusive of all interested parties.

What They're Saying

“Our organization was seeking a creative, experienced guide who could help us take a successful annual fundraising event to the next level. Jessica had a proven process that brought together a variety of stakeholders for brainstorming and discovery. We’ve charted a new course forward and are looking forward to continuing our work with J Shea to make the new vision a reality.”

How It Works

Strategy Session

It begins with an in-person brain dump and strategy session with you and the top stakeholders. We’ll come armed with the J Shea Strategy Tool Kit and walk you through specific exercises and questions to get to the heart of the event’s purpose & direction.

The clearer we all are on the true mission, the more effective we’ll be in the strategy development and recommended execution.

Budget Review

Next up is a comprehensive review of all budget elements including expenses vs. revenues, ticket prices vs. what the event costs per person, and an overall deep dive into revenues and if it could be making more.

Plan Creation

Finally, you walk away with a documented plan clearly outlining the collected information, methods for achieving your immediate goals, suggestions for the year ahead, and replicable tactics for the future.

You will be crystal clear on how your event and its design should be executed to effectively tie back to your organization’s goals. (Oh, and P.S. We can help with the planning too.)

Let’s Get After It!
